Information and Media Minister and Chief Government Spokesperson, Chushi Kasanda in her continued familiarization tour of Luapula province today visited Bangwela radio and a Top Star transmission site in Samfya. Addressing members of staff at Bangwela radio, the minister said the New Dawn Government in its quest to promote freedom of the press, is supporting the media to develop a self regulatory mechanism. The minister has further urged media practitioners to uphold professionalism in the execution of their duty of informing and educating the public.
